Priors Hall Park residents can now enjoy another place to play as the Village Green becomes the first public open space on the development’s new Zone 2.
The new green space will provide a feature space at the heart of the new zone within the Barratt Homes development, with properties from Barratt Homes fronting on to the landscaped area, with timber based style similar to the ever popular play areas already found around Priors Hall Park.
The Village Green sits at the heart of the new zone with a high quality timber based play area in keeping with the Zone 1 play spaces, with timber climbing frames, swings, slides and more as well as a feature tree with wraparound seating and a recreation area with pétanque, table tennis and ball labyrinth for all ages to enjoy.
Priors Hall Park already offered eight different play areas in Zone 1, grouped across three distinct areas with overall themes defined by their landscape characters. Each area offers play equipment suitable for children of all ages, constructed from high quality timber.
Potential buyers visiting Priors Hall Park can explore eleven different show homes across the whole development, starting with four on offer from Barratt and David Wilson Homes, where you can buy homes that look out over the Village Green.
Also on zone 2, which can be found just off the new A43 roundabout, Bovis Homes opened two new show homes in July, to add to the three that Taylor Wimpey currently have available to visit.
These are in addition to the final few remaining homes available on Zone 1 from the popular Lodge Park Homes. Find out more at www.priorshallpark.co.uk/buying-a-home
The new zones will include a range of community facilities and public open spaces, with the first being a play area at the new Village Green, set to open in 2024. The new green space will provide a feature within the Barratt Homes development, with homes fronting on to the landscaped area, with timber based style similar to the ever popular play areas already found around Priors Hall Park.
Nigel Wakefield, Development Director for Urban & Civic at Priors Hall Park, said:
“We have placed great value on creating green spaces for our new and growing communities and it is fantastic to see children enjoying our unique and varied play spaces.
In addition to our new district centre, we’re confident that Priors Hall Park will continue to be an attractive prospect for families looking for a new home in a place that boasts state of the art schools, play areas and green spaces.”
As well as the impressive selection of play areas, Priors Hall Park offers residents a host of on-site amenities, Corby Business Academy, Priors Hall Primary School, and extensive outdoor space, including an amphitheatre. It has also has a thriving district centre, with a Sainsbury’s Local, Busy Bees nursery, and a host of independent businesses in the heart of the neighbourhood’s community hub.
Eventually, Priors Hall Park will comprise 5,325 homes with an additional two primary schools and more formal open spaces, sports pitches and community facilities.
